Bhojpuri actress and Bigg Boss ex-contestant Monalisa is all set to return in her new avatar. Yes, is reports are to be believed, the actress is all set to sizzle as sexy Jhuma bhabhi in web-series Dupur Thakurpo season 2.

This edition is going to have a new story as opposed to the first season, which featured Swastika Mukherjee as Uma Boudi. The series which will be streamed on Hoichoi, a digital platform for Bengali shows and movies.

She recently shared a teaser of the show on her Instagram & her fans are very excited to see her in the role of a ‘bhabhi’ in the show.

Talking about her outing as Jhuma Boudi, Mona told Indian Express, “I was really excited when they approached me for this role. We sat together and have discussed the minute details to make it a hit character. The look is very glamorous but as a person, Jhuma is very simple. It’s her adaayein and way of talking that will make the young boys go crazy over her.”

Monalisa became a household name after she appeared in the tenth season of Bigg Boss hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. She married her Bhojpuri co-star Vikrant Singh Rajpoot while she was inside the house of Bigg Boss. Her wedding ceremony was aired on national television.
